2012 Elections for SBAA Leadership

We are holding elections for the 2012 SBAA Board at the Annual Meeting/Potluck on October 2, 2011.

The positions that are up for reelection are:

- President - 1 yr term
- Vice President - 1 yr term
- Treasurer - 1 yr term
- Recording Secretary - 1 yr term
- Corresponding Secretary - 1 yr term
- Two-Year Trustee - 2 positions
- Someone to fill the remaining year of an unexpired term to replace a Trustee who cannot complete his full 2-year term

We also need someone to take on the responsibility of Newsletter Editor. This responsibility entails writing the monthly newsletter, reproducing it, and mailing it out. Attending Board and General Meetings would be helpful to obtain the info needed for the newsletter.

We also need volunteers to take on other responsibilities such as Chair of the Annual Membership Exhibit.

The following is the current slate of nominees. Anyone can throw their hat in the ring if they would also like to run for these positions; see further info below.

- Vice President: Jim Vaughan
- Treasurer: Michele DePalo
- Corresponding Secretary: Laurie Fosmire
- Recording Secretary: Joan Tavolott
- Two-Year Trustees: Greg Barbera, LuAnn Thompson
- 1 year of unexpired term to be filled: Brian Bartley

This year's Nominations Committee Chair is Gina Lento and other members are Adele Roberts, Michele DePalo and Greg Barbera. Any one else interested in being part of the committee can contact Gina Lento at the contact info below.

If you are interested in running for the above positions, please contact Gina. The responsibility of the positions requires the duties of that position plus regular attendance at Board Meetings and General Meetings.
