There will be a reception for the show on Sunday, August 23^rd from 1 – 4 pm.

Announcing! Paper Cup Studio opens in Bellport!

Opening July 25, Reception Friday, July 31, 7PM.

At the gallery we are proud to announce our first exhibit the “Paper Cup Exhibit” and Patchogue Sketch Group with “Everyday Life."

The Patchogue Sketch Club, under the umbrella of the Patchogue Arts Council, was created in 2009, for the purpose of getting people together to discover the value of sketching. Sketching itself is its own art form, sketching helps artists "see" better and enhances drawing skills. Sketching is also a fun way of recording the world around us much more intimately than a camera.

Don’t stand in one spot in town for more then one minute or you will be in their sketch!

The Paper Cup Exhibit is an installation of local artists that are collectively part of an amazing creation of art that represents this gallery's mission
“Artists Working Together”

It's that time of year again!

As per our by-laws, August is the time for the Nominating Committee to solicit members for the new Board. The new Board takes office effective January 1st, 2016 and the election takes place at our Annual Meeting, date and location TBA, some time in September.

If you are interested in serving on the Committee, our Nominating Committee Chair, Malrene Bezich, has sent out a form for you to fill out.

Congratulations Eric!

Congratulations to SBAA member Eric Laskowski on winning this year's Bellport Festival Poster Contest!  Eric's photo shows a dramatic sky over the Bellport Yacht Club.

Eric now joins the ranks of SBAA members who have won in the past,  including,
Em Czaja, Br. Gerard Cormier, Larry Johnston, Jodi Love, LuAnn Thompson, and Mary Reay to name a few.....
