LI Watercolorists @ South Country Library in September!

Long Island Watercolorists will display their work at the South Country Library, Bellport,  for the month of September?   The watercolorists take a class with teacher, Paul Padavano.  SBAA members include Rosanne O'Reilly, Barbara Stewart, Diana Berthold, and Louise Reeves.

The Library is located on Station Road in Bellport, down near South Country Road.
There will be a reception on Sept 8th from 1 - 3 pm

Em Czaja Exhibit

Our Esteemed Founding Member, Emily Czaja, will have an exhibit

at Bellport Arts & Framing for the month of September. Emily's work

was chosen this year by the Bellport Chamber of Commerce as the

official poster of the Bellport Bay Festival.  The Poster was unveiled

on the 4th of July and was available for sale on Bellport Day,

celebrating their 30th year of Posters! See the complete collection at

Cafe Costello in Bellport- its quite a show!

SBAA Plein Air Show- September

The SBAA Plein Air Painters are invited to show at the Bayport-Blue Point Library for the month of September so keep that in mind this season.

Exhibitors must be members of SBAA. Thanks to Kathy Wayman, who  has graciously set this event up for us, 

results of the summer's work can then be shown at the Library in September.
Drop Off is Saturday Sept 1st at 3 pm.

UPDATE: The show has been installed and features 32 works by sbaa members,and a variety of local scenes!

SBAA Members Only Juried Show!

NEW: SBAA JURIED SHOW   Oct 11 - 21 The drop off: Oct 7th Pickup for rejected artwork:Oct 10th  Show opens on the Thursday the 11th.   Work will be juried in. Reception is Sat Oct 13th from 5 to 8,   Pickup for the show is on the 21st by 4 pm ALSO:  We will have an Art Walk on Saturday Oct 20th from 5 to 7:30. More info to follow on that event.
